After knowing the meaning of power monitoring and smart class, this time Envisions will tell you about the solution implemented at one of the universities in Bandung. We implemented power monitoring for several buildings namely FIK, FIB and others. The installation took place in September 2023. Power monitoring aims to find out the power usage and power output in each building, the activity aims to be able to reduce operating costs, increase outage restoration time and get real time data. This will make it easier for the University to calculate the total electricity costs incurred in each building and also facilitate the maintenance process for each transformer in each building.

The smart class solution was carried out in one of the lecture buildings at one of the universities in Bandung. The solution provided is automation of classroom lights that will go out automatically by detecting humans using integrated smart CCTV, if there are humans in the classroom the lights will automatically turn on and if there are no humans in the classroom the lights will automatically go out. this solution helps the University in reducing the cost of electricity usage in each class.

The application of power monitoring and smart class is not just about the application of technology alone, but the main key is measurable data. This data will be used as a parameter for the University to get references and recommendations on the practice of using electrical power, so that more efficient and effective use is needed in optimizing all existing sectors
